As part of International Birds Day, we joined forces with Birds Colombia to come up with 32 different versions of the Colombian coat-of-arms, swapping the Andean condor for thirty-some birds characteristic of each of the country’s departments.
Colombia has over 1,966 bird species and is home to 20% of all the world’s birds. Eighteen of these species are on the verge of extinction, including the Andean condor.
The campaign was about building awareness about birds in Colombia, their care, and the diverse ecosystems in Colombia where they dwell, drawing attention to the need for public policies to protect them.
